Burnley Buddhist Meditation Classes

The evening meditation classes in Burnley teach how to gain an experience of inner peace though meditation. They are a great way to learn to meditate, to improve your meditation practice, or to learn new meditation techniques. Through meditation we can learn to relax, let go of our daily concerns and develop a fresh and positive outlook.

Kelsang Paljin

The evening classes in Burnley are taught by Gen Kelsang Päljin, a Buddhist monk with over 10 years' experience of practising and teaching Kadampa Buddhism. Päljin has been the Resident Teacher of Buddha Land Buddhist Centre, Keighley for the past 3 years. He is able to explain clearly and simply how we can apply meditation in our daily lives and so experience deep and lasting happiness.

Everyone is welcome. Each class lasts just under two hours and includes guided meditations, a talk explaining how to practice and apply meditation, and group discussion. These classes are self contained, so you can attend individual classes if you choose.
