Meditation Workshop

Meditations for Good Heart

6 Dec 10am-2pm

We know the beneficial effect that love can have on our mind. However, our loving and positive states of mind can be fleeting and frequently our mind is filled with negative thoughts. Learn how to improve our experience of loving kindness in this Workshop

Christmas Stop the Week

Friday 11 Dec 7.30pm

Join us for short guided meditation, a brief teaching and a 4 course vegetarian Christmas meal in the best of company.

Please book in advance for this popular event either by sending a deposit of £5 or by paying via Paypal on our website.

Vajrasattva Retreat

13 Dec - 19 Dec

This annual retreat focuses on purification of negative karma which is the cause of all individual and group suffering. Sessions are at 7.30am, 10.30am, 4.30pm and 7.30pm and can be attended individually

Christmas Party

Sunday 13 Dec 12.30-2.15pm

If you have not been to Buddha Land yet or haven't seen us for a while then why not drop in to our Christmas party? All are welcome to this informal event. There will be a buffet (contributions welcome but not essential!) and a raffle.

If you would like to contribute an item towards our raffle of a Christmas hamper then please can you drop it into the Centre by Friday 11 December?

New Year's Eve

Thursday 31 Dec 7pm - 12.30am

And before long, Christmas is all over and we're looking towards the coming year. We will be welcoming in the New Year at Buddha Land with an evening meal, a DVD of the Wheel of Life and meditation and chanted prayers dedicated to world peace to take us into 2010.

Coffee Mornings

Every Saturday until Christmas we are open from 10.30am-2pm for coffee homemade cakes and a secondhand book sale.

Christmas Break

During term break there will be daily prayers at the Centre, including Christmas Day when we have Offering to Spiritual Guide at 7.30pm. Please contact us for more details.
